The only app in iTunes featuring the “dots method”!! This app will aid infants in developing the right side of the brain, -- the side responsible for creativity, memory, computation.

- How to use Dots
Simply tap “Count” or “Calculate” to start. Very easy to use!

( Count )
Default settings: App will count up automatically from 1 to 100 with red dots. Upper value can be adjusted.
App will loop back and count from 1. To stop, tap the “X”

( Calculate )
Default settings: Addition equations will be displayed at random and its results with audio will be displayed automatically. Subtraction equations can also be selected.
App will continue to display equations at random until the “X” is tapped.

- Description
The dots are displayed at random to enhance the infant’s ability to interpret the image as a whole, rather than counting one at a time.

Red dots are recommended for 0-year old infants. For ages 1 and up, select an icon that your child enjoys most.

This application includes audio, but it’s also effective to turn the audio off and have the parents count the dots aloud at a desirable pace.

- What is dots?
Studies have shown that the right side of the brain dictates Infants aged 0 to 3 years old.
By stimulating this side of the brain, creativity, artistic talents, decision making and memory are expected to enhance.
One such method is “dots.” Rather than teaching numbers numerically (i.e. “1,” “2,” etc.), showing the numbers visually will drastically enhance mental math skills.
In Japan, this method is widely adopted at early-childhood education institutes by using flash cards with red dots.
